A rare and exciting opening for a HR Manager to join a leading family owned business in Sydney's Western suburbs.

Our ClientOur client is a leading transport and logistics provider to the mining and resources sector and they currently have an exciting opening for a seasoned HR Manager to join the team. They provide a number of successful service lines to some of Australia's leading infrastructure firms, with an exemplary reputation in the market and a culture that drives collaboration and safety across the board.


Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will include, but not limited to;

  • Supervision of the HR Team (3 FTE)
  • Manage performance management and disciplinary matters, including investigation, advising and execution of outcomes
  • Develop and implement relevant policies, procedures, frameworks and guidelines
  • EBA planning, lead initiation, negotiation and filing
  • Industrial Relations; agreement negotiations, IR planning, training programs, policy updates and continual advice to internal senior managers
  • Generalist HR Advice and Support to the wider business
  • Represent the organisation before tribunals and councils as required
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Interpret all relevant modern awards, enterprise agreements, legislation and regulations

ProfileAs an ideal applicant, you will have;
  • Proven HR Management experience within a similar industry
  • Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Tertiary qualified, ideally within Human Resources or Industrial Relations
  • Strong transactional generalist experience, with a dedicated focus on Industrial Relations
  • Accurate awareness and understanding of Australian legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, coupled with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office suite skills
