JOB DESCRIPTION

HR Business Partner / Manager. Australia’s largest healthcare recruitment agency.

What is the objective of your role, and what were you hired to do? What do you actually do?

What if you had the autonomy to build a best practice HR function? Be embedded and engrossed in organisational change and development, whilst also being involved in the commercial and strategic plans of the business. You can’t plan the workforce requirements of tomorrow if you aren’t involved in the business.

It’s an opportunity to implement all the best ideas you’ve been party to that might have ended up on the cutting room floor. Or finesse the existing processes, to drive uniformity and consistency. To take an already great culture to the next level.

Your client-facing peers are passionate, smart and engaged, and you will report directly to the MD. No glass ceilings, no bureaucracy, you’ll hear “yes, let’s do it” more than “not sure that’s a priority right now”.

It’s a great role, and with all great roles come challenges. You will be challenged by the complexity of the business and the industry, and your ideas need to have merit and be tested. This isn’t a gung-ho operation, they’re number one in their specialist space for a reason.

This role may suit a mid-level HR practitioner within a larger business looking to escape the confines of a siloed HR function and step up into a leadership role. Or you may be in a leadership role with an SME that isn’t giving your function the gravitas it requires. It is (in its current form) a lean, hands-on set up with a small number of direct reports. However, you’ll have access to all the support required externally until you assess which functions sit internally, and which don’t.

  • HR Degree
  • Comfortable with tech and remote working. This business has moved to a blended role between office and home working.
  • An in-depth appreciation of Emotional Intelligence, with an understanding of how to implement and champion EQ initiatives
  • Problem solver – for the things you aren’t an expert in, you need to be able to navigate to a solution
  • Post Grad business and coaching qualifications highly regarded
  • A legitimate interest in enhancing people lives

The business is Australia’s largest healthcare recruitment agency working with multi-national healthcare organisations (biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceutical, scientific); medical, diagnostic, and imaging facilities; aged care providers and residential facilities; government departments; health insurance funds; and public and private hospitals.

The plans are for continued growth which will result in a large workforce focused on healthcare recruitment.

If you want to be able to point directly to the impact you have had, and be the conduit to people & culture, TA and retention, performance, coaching, and business strategy, please call to discuss in more detail.

After hours and weekend calls are fine. We know you are busy.
