Learning And Development Specialist

Complete Credit Solutions - Parramatta, NSW

HR & Recruitment
Source: uWorkin

Let’s get started…

If you are an experienced trainer (or great experience working in debt collections, or both is an added bonus) then we have a great opportunity to join our growing L&D team. Just answer these questions first:

  • Have you worked as an internal trainer in your previous roles?
  • Have you worked in the collections industry but want to branch out into a different area of the business?
  • Can you demonstrate your passion for training and upskilling people?

This is a full-time role based in our Parramatta office with some travel to our Sutherland office.

About the Role

As our business continues to grow, we need an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our growing HR team to support our induction pod of new trainees (approximately 10-15 new people per month).

Joining our current Learning & Development Specialists, you will provide them with support, run your own induction pods and assist with assessment centre activities.

This role has been created to support business growth where you will have the opportunity to make a quick impact.

Who are you?

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a training role, with a proven ability to provide an engaging learner experience. Ideally you will have had some exposure to financial services, in debt collections. While it’s an advantage it’s not a deal breaker if you don’t.

You will have superb communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. You are bubbly, energetic and have loads of ideas.

At CCS a great attitude will win us over every time. We want people who love to get involved and make a positive contribution to our culture. You will be approachable, agile and a champion of change.

Your day-to-day

Your main responsibility will be to give our trainees the best possible learning experience during their induction. You will also:

  • Assist with preparations for each induction pod
  • Facilitate professionally and engage with trainees including responding to questions
  • Assist with assessing suitability of trainees and sharing feedback as appropriate
  • Group and side-by-side coaching
  • Conducting mock calls and providing feedback
  • Providing accurate feedback on trainees to Team Performance Managers
  • Address any conduct or behavioural issues with trainees as required
  • Identifying skill gaps in the learning and development of new inductees and developing plans to support the closure of skill gaps
  • Involvement in assessment centres for the recruitment of trainees
  • Supporting HR team projects as required

What’s in it for you?

You will be joining a high-performing and inclusive HR team in a fast-growth business where you can have an impact on the success of new trainees.

You will also have access to wellness programs and thousands of discounted products through our HR tech platform, Employment Hero.

No need for suits and boots every day – we have a smart casual dress policy so you can feel comfortable at work.
