Awesome team is looking for a chef to head this dynamic and fun kitchen! Never a dull day here!

THE VENUE:

Is a Port Macquarie icon and known for producing a high quality and high volume pub classics menu. It is a fun and busy venue with a stellar reputation meaning it's a real draw card for locals and visitors to the area! The team is known for encouraging a collaborative and fun work environment for all staff. You will work for a team of true professionals while also enjoying what you do every day!

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly skilled leader to jump in to an already well established and successful bistro to take it to the next level! You will lead a team of professional and skilled chefs who love what they do. It is a high volume, high quality food offering and you will take pride in every aspect of your role!

YOU:

* Minimum 2-3 experience in a head chef role in a busy kitchen
* An unrivalled passion for the industry and drive to be in the know on current food trends
* A strong leadership background with passion for leading a team from the front
* Energetic and enthusiastic team player - Understand that having fun while working in the kitchen is important
* Creative flair is non-negotiable
* Strong knowledge and ability to maintain food safety standards
* Financial knowledge, stock control and rostering experience.
