Directions Workforce Solutions is calling for candidates looking for electrical apprenticeships. These apprenticeships will be hosted to electrical contracting or building companies within the Perth Metro region.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • To work along qualified electrician’s whilst gaining exposure to electrical work.
  • Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
  • To comply with procedures and practices with respect to Health and Safety, personnel practices and conditions of employment.


Interested candidates must possess the following minimum requirements:
  • Have a can-do attitude, be reliable, self-driven and motivated to succeed
  • Able to get on with others and be a team-player across multiple work fronts
  • Strong attitude towards safety
  • Good attention to detail
  • Committed to a program of on the job learning and formal training
  • Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
  • Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or relevant right to work visa
  • A Current Energy Safety licence
  • Construction Industry White Card (White Card)
  • A Current WA Driver’s Licence
  • TAFE Component up to date

Highly Desirable
  • Previous experience working in the Construction Industry
  • Pre-apprenticeship - Electrical
Candidates must be available throughout the recruitment process which will include:
  • Aptitude testing
  • Two rounds of interviews
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
