We are looking for an eDiscovery Analyst. You will be working as an integral part of our project’s eDiscovery and Disclosure teams in conjunction with one of the largest arbitrations in Australia.

Reporting to the eDiscovery Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing litigation support services to attorneys, internal clients, and external counsel. This role will also manage data and communications to support eDiscovery requests, execution and fulfillment for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs day to day eDiscovery project activities which include data management, vendor management, communication and delivery
  • Collaborates with in-house and external attorneys on requests for data and identification of source documents, setting up document reviews, and preparing documents for disclosure
  • Provides a high level of technical expertise and is able to interact and clearly communicate requirements to external vendors, internal business personnel, and in-house and external attorneys
  • Subject matter expert to internal clients and team members by refining document/data requests and identifying data repositories
  • Provides reports efficiently to internal and external parties upon request
  • Prepares documents for electronic review based on project requirements
  • Performs quality control and assurance of project data delivery, which include overseeing any quality control performed by external vendors on document productions, document review pools and in-house and external attorneys
  • Support in the setup and management of the various eDiscovery tools used on the project
  • Support in the development and implementation of processes and protocols for the handling of eDiscovery requests
  • Uses best practices in preservation, collection, and delivery workflows
  • Oversees service delivery by external vendor on your projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant eDiscovery experience with 2 years’ experience preparing and delivering data productions, review pools, and other deliverables during the document review and production process
  • Thorough knowledge of the eDiscovery process as referenced in the EDRM and at each stage of its lifecycle, including evolving standards created through case law, rules, and industry trends, and of eDiscovery/litigation support services and technologies
  • Extensive experience with Relativity preferred
  • Experience with IPRO, Clearwell, iCONECT XERA, Nuix, Nuix Discover, Catalyst or others will be considered
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client service orientation
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access is highly regarded
  • Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under significant time constraints
