The Challenge

Our mission is to drive the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Experience Management business forward. As stewards of the business, we are focused on driving revenue, winning (especially within key accounts & industries) with thought leadership & experience, and supporting strategic initiatives that will grow our footprint across Customer, Employee, Brand and Product Experience.

Our Mission

The mission of the Solution Strategy team is to drive product revenue with a focus on developing and executing strategic initiatives that will increase our XM product revenue.

A Day in the Life

The Solution Strategist role provides domain expertise and strategic guidance to Qualtrics customers and prospects to build credibility and support Qualtrics growth. This is a senior advisory role that is hyper-focused on growing revenue. To accomplish this, they will work side-by-side with the sales and marketing organisation on strategic account planning, deal specific strategy, and sales & marketing campaign execution.

You will go deep on developing a strategic approach and executing on this for scalable growth in the Corporate and education space. You will be proactive in creating opportunities, developing a center of excellence around competitive intelligence, and support high value cross functional initiatives. While most of the effort will be focused in a pre-sales environment, some of the additional cross-functional initiatives could include marketing brand building activity, content generation, contributing to analyst reports/relationships, attending events, delivering customer workshops, and directing account based marketing activity.


  • Provides Thought Leadership in Experience Management
  • Drives revenue amongst Corporate & Education accounts across Customer, Employee, Product & Brand Research solutions
  • Leverage global and regional strategic guidance to develop scalable, repeatable sales plays for Corporate accounts across key verticals in Australia
  • Proactively engages the sales organisation to penetrate key strategic verticals & product solutions
  • Works closely with sales leadership to forecast and direct internal resources to key accounts
  • Creates and leads training for the sales organisation
  • Contributes to product and business development activities
  • Works with the Marketing organisation and contributes to thought leadership content and Demand generation activities
  • Coordinates with other subject matter experts within Qualtrics to build innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs and push the field forward
  • Working closely with the other internal functions to contribute to localizing sales materials and other relevant assets

Successful Candidates Will Possess Most Of The Following Qualifications
  • At least 8-10 years experience & knowledge related to customer, brand and employee experience and the connection between the two.
  • Extensive experience interacting with clients in both pre- and post-sales capacities Experience as an external consultant (preferably has experience as both an internal and external consultant)
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to create custom solution presentations
  • Willingness and ability to work in a quota-carrying sales environment
  • Willingness & ability to build expertise in Qualtrics' products and solutions
  • Availability to travel between 25-50% (domestically in Sydney & Region wide as restrictions ease)
