The Manager, Group Inclusion & Diversity is responsible for the ongoing development of the Qantas Group Inclusion and Diversity strategy, integrating leading practises, emerging priorities, current research and organisational knowledge to ensure successful implementation across the Group. The primary focus of this role is to understand the internal and external environment and analyse the needs at a Group and business unit level, to lead and be accountable for a range of key strategic priorities.

This position has a broad stakeholder group, working closely with Group Executives, their leadership teams, both the Group I&D Council and Segment Councils, Employee Networks and the People Community, in addition to external providers and partners. Influencing and coaching capabilities are essential. 

In-depth organisational development capability, specialising in Inclusion and Diversity is key to this role, as is significant program management capability across a large, continuously changing, complex organisation.

You’ll have –

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Organisational Development with a specialist focus on Inclusion & Diversity or other relevant areas
  • Experience developing and implementing a Reconciliation Action Plan and all associated priorities, programs and activity
  • Experience in managing internal and external benchmarking, reporting and employee networks
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, organisational psychology or related field
  • Significant experience delivering an extensive range of impactful inclusion and diversity priorities and strategies, including reconciliation action plans
  • Highly skilled in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously in the face of changing priorities and requirements, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail
  • An ability to apply breadth and depth of leading I&D principles and practices into the design, development and evaluation of a Group I&D strategy and implementation
  • Demonstrated Organisational Development experience and capability, preferably in Leadership Development, Talent and/or Culture
  • Solid research, analytical and insights skills used to develop creative and effective outcomes
  • Highly experienced in developing and coaching senior leader capability in inclusive leadership
  • Experience leading a small team focused on managing progress against objectives, development and coaching
