Join a successful organisation who are one of Queensland's largest independent welding equipment repairers throughout the South East Queensland region. In the blue collar space, this company are experts in their field.

You will be working for a company that has family values and really looks after their staff. The most recent person in this role has been there for nine years.

Position will entail the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a small office team effectively
  • Customer Liaison
  • Allocate Welders, Electricians and maintenance crews to jobs
  • Invoicing, purchase orders, parts tracking, stock control
  • Warranty claims officer - tracking of jobs under warranty, parts in and returns
  • General day to day operations of office
  • Control of customer maintenance calendar - booking periodic maintenance for customers
  • Tendering on maintenance contracts
  • Manage CRM and customer portal
  • Monday to Friday roster

To be successful the following skills are required;

  • Previous experience in a similar managerial position
  • Proficient Computer Skills - Microsoft Word & Excel
  • IT savvy
  • Excellent communication & verbal capabilities
  • MYOB & or Recon Accounts program experience required
  • Knowledge & understanding of the welding / engineering industry advantageous
  • Ability to work with all types of personalities
  • Confident in all aspects of general administration responsibilities
  • Ability to use purchase orders, parts tracking and control stock.
