The opportunity

  • This is an account where you are exposed to full Communications Planning. As the lead agency Hearts & Science is responsible for the overarching strategy of campaigns, which then dictates the creative and earned media outputs. It's not just an implementation account
  • You are exposed to a diverse range of products, target demos and channels when it comes to campaign planning, with a focus on omni-channel planning bringing together offline and online to drive overarching campaign goals
  • It's a Dynamic account - between the different campaigns, products and clients, no two days are the same, so you are always learning and doing new things, with the clients always keen to explore new channels or ways of working
  • You lead an amazing team! Fully skilled and passionate media professionals, and lovely people.

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a Planning Director to work across one of our key accounts in a role that will see you support the development of media strategy and plans whilst taking ownership for the impeccable implementation of campaigns.

The people who will flourish at Hearts are fluent in digital, interested in using data to inform and technology platforms to enable. More specifically;

  • You'll ideally have around 4-5 years' experience and have a strong knowledge of media and the Australian media landscape.
  • You appreciate how digital interacts with traditional and have a working knowledge of both.
  • You have excellent collaboration and communication skills. You're able to work effectively with both with your direct teams but also internal and external stakeholders.
  • You're numerate, accurate and have good attention to detail. You demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have a naturally curious approach to work, and you challenge your client and peers when you feel it appropriate, able to articulate yourself with a clear point of view
  • You're hard working, motivated with high energy and an approachable manner
  • You will have a tenacious approach to self-learning & development.
