Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered Aboriginal Health Practitioners work as part of a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the delivery of culturally safe and high-quality direct clinical services including patient care, health promotion and education.

The Aboriginal Health team is a passionate team that collaborates with all medical, nursing and allied health teams to provide a culturally sensitive link between medical teams, Aboriginal patients and communities within WNSWLHD.

Where you’ll be working:
Dubbo Health Service is a major rural referral hospital and part of the Western NSW Local Health District. It provides a range of acute inpatient and ambulatory care services including general medical and surgical, maternity, gynaecology, paediatrics, rehabilitation, critical care, renal dialysis, oncology, palliative care, hospital in the home and diagnostic services. The Health Service also offers a wide range of primary and community health services including child and family health services, mental health services and antenatal and post-natal services. 

Dubbo Health Service is currently undergoing a major transformation under the Dubbo Hospital Redevelopment Project to provide expanded and upgraded clinical services to the people of Western NSW.
