About the role:
As a Registered Nurse you will provide compassionate person centred care within the Armidale Hospital Surgical Ward, ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. 

This contract will provide you with the opportunity for advancement in clinical knowledge, leadership and skills in the surgical disciplines, as well as increasing responsibility to the team with Team Leader development. You will be supported in this role by a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator.

About the Ward:
Our Surgical Ward is a sixteen bed ward offering a supportive, dynamic team covering a range of general surgeries including orthopaedics and urology. 

About you:
We are looking for Registered Nurses with acute care or surgical experience. You are a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse with a commitment to ongoing development and providing excellent care. You will have great organisational skills such as time management and task prioritising skills and the ability to provide a mentorship to junior nursing team.
