Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Female Sexual Assault Counsellor to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

Do you have demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of crisis and longer term counselling interventions to young people and/or adults who have experienced sexual assault and other forms of violence, abuse and neglect?

Do you have demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multidisciplinary team?

The purpose of this position is to provide specialist services and senior clinical leadership in the Sexual Assault Counselling Service including optimisation of client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

Being female is a genuine requirement of this position and is authorised under Section 31.2H of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1997.
