The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation $28 billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come.

The opportunity

We have multiple opportunities available for Transaction Manager roles to join the Pre-Contract unit within Commercial Services within Infrastructure & Place Division of Transport for NSW.

The Transaction Manager is responsible for effective partnering with stakeholders to develop, source and manage the transaction arrangements during the procurement phase to effectively meet organisational and business objectives, ensuring effective administration of all procurement/transaction management processes and compliance with all procurement policies, processes and procedures and governance frameworks.

What will be involved:

  • Manage the transaction process and requirements during the procurement phase to ensure that transaction is implemented and undertaken efficiently
  • Establish and manage electronic data room and ensure documents are promptly uploaded and updated
  • Undertake peer review of processes and documentation as required

About you 

You have a relevant tertiary qualification, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in leading the preparation of high quality documentation for major infrastructure projects in NSW. You have demonstrated experience managing transaction management processes with a comprehensive understanding of the procurement and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects. Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams is extremely important for this role.

Salary and benefits 

The salary for this position is Grade 9 ($135,898- $152,204) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
