Leader needed for our next people experience chapter

We’re a business with a purpose, a not for profit who is doing good in our community. We hold the firm belief that our workplace culture is the engine for our success.

We don’t look for the big bang transformation program, because we know change happens every day through experimentations, iterations and doing the reps. So, what will you be doing in this role?
As a member of different teams, you will be thinking and acting not only in your best interests, but with the needs of those we serve in mind. You will learn, grow, contribute, create and evolve.

You will have a strong sense of accountability for the whole People Experience trade and can hold the balance between accountability and empowerment. You will find ways to push others to grow into different areas. You aren’t protective about information but understand the difference between being an advisor and being transparent.

Right now, there are few areas of focus that this role is leading. Though, this will change as our needs change. Today as we write this what we need you to focus on are:

  • Being a coach, servant leader and mentor to the members of the PX trade. Inspiring and creating development opportunities to foster a best-in-class People Experience trade.
  • Setting up the practices and systems for an employee experience that reinforces our culture at every touch point and enables people to do their best work.
  • Developing a diverse talent strategy and model to ensure we are building on the culture with each hire and are attracting diverse people who can do their best work.
  • Providing servant leadership to the OUA Experience Tribe (collection of teams) to improve OUA’s how we work and our effectiveness; and
  • Inspiring the organisation, the People Experience trade, and people through effective storytelling and truly living our values.
