Job Description

Implementation Planning

  • High level implementation planning ability with large budgets and responsible for presenting media recommendations back to the client
  • Critical evaluation of the ability for a media strategy and plan to deliver on client’s objectives
  • Responsible for the media plan from the communications planning through to execution
  • Fine tuning budget allocation, weights, phasing, and title/channel/site mix with creation of the media plan
  • Accountable for the implementation of all strategies and ensures the implementation manager is thoroughly briefed
  • Must be strong in TV, print, outdoor and radio with digital knowledge preferable
  • Able to adhere to the agreed way of working with the client
  • Leads team and client WIPs and supports workflow and resource allocation within their team, manages issues effectively and reports issues or concerns to the Head of Client Service
  • Knows where all campaigns are at at all times
  • Ensures all client reporting is sent out in a timely matter and any issues are flagged well in advance
  • Responsible for timely communication if planned goals cannot be met, due to approved lead times
  • Uses & understands all planning & buying tools (Tools including but not limited to: AQX, eTam, Roy Morgan, Nielsen Answers, Move, Eram).

Client Management

  • Manages all communications with all client stakeholders in a timely manner to manage all expectations and deliverables
  • Leads communication across all internal stakeholders ensuring alignment
  • Ensures work produced by us is high quality, delivered on time and communicated effectively, including regular reporting
  • Ensures clear communication to the Head of Client Service to guarantee client satisfaction and expectation management
  • Provides concise, timely and accurate reporting on all campaigns, including insightful commentary and learnings for future campaigns
  • Takes pride in all work delivered and ensures the presentation and design is impeccable and consistent with Atomic 212° brand guidelines.

Team Management

  • Ensures direct reports have a clear understanding of company and client goals and how their role contributes to achieving this
  • Delegates appropriate authority and responsibility to others, with latitude for them to do a task their way, as long as it’s within the agreed Atomic Way of Working
  • Coaches and mentors team members to build their skills and competencies (with support of our development and training program)
  • Inspires the team to deliver SMARTER FASTER ACCOUNTABLE solutions for our clients
  • Helps team members identify their strengths and works on development areas in line with the #GROW process and in line with agreed KPIs
  • Has timely and regular check ins on how they are generally going ie mood and performance to avoid ‘surprise conversations’
  • Gives timely informal and formal feedback if performance is not at the required level for the role they are performing
  • Motivates and engages with the team
  • Celebrates success.
