The opportunity

Biosense Webster is recognised worldwide as a leader in the science behind the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. At the same time, Biosense Webster has delivered mapping and navigation innovations that have advanced the science and practice of Electrophysiology.

An exciting opportunity has become available within our Melbourne team supporting our dynamic Biosense Webster business. The Associate Clinical Specialist role is a training position which will develop your clinical knowledge and technical skills in the field of Electrophysiology. Upon successful graduation from this 12 month program you will be promoted to a Clinical Specialist role within Australia.

Biosense Webster is experiencing outstanding growth nationally and as such the location of the Clinical Specialist role will be driven by demand. In this position you will play an integral role in building our customers' confidence with and utilising our heart mapping systems. You will partner with our customers, Electrophysiologists, Cardiac Technicians and Nurses within Hospitals and empower them with your knowledge.You will be part of a passionate team of individuals involved in some of the most complex medical procedures. Your partnership with the wider Biosense Webster team will help facilitate success in this patient focused environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will:
  • Have a natural aptitude and passion for technology
  • Come from a Clinical, Biomedical Engineering, Cath lab or related field. However, we are open to expression of interest from candidates outside of these realms
  • Possess an ability to troubleshoot and remain calm under pressure, sometimes remaining focused for extended periods of time
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding patient outcomes
  • Love working as part of a cohesive team, always willing to lend a hand and share the load.
