Inside Sales is an innovative sales service provided by Medtronic to support and offer first class customer service to our Type 1 Diabetes patients. The team will interact with our Medtronic customers in the use of pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring systems.

The team respond to leads through our digital channel and collaborates with Diabetes Educators and internal Medtronic field sales teams to achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets.

This is a rare leadership opportunity leading our Diabetes Inside Sales team and will suit an experienced Sales or Call Centre leader with a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing a truly collaborative, engaged and enjoyable team culture!

A Day in the Life

  • As the Inside Sales Manager for Diabetes, you will lead a team of 9-12 Inside Sales Representatives who will provide sales and customer service to our Diabetes patients
  • Build a high performing and highly engaged Inside Sales Team - recruiting, training and coaching and ensuring each team member is making progress towards the attainment of their goals that enable them to achieve their business, career and development objectives.
  • Develop a winning team culture and positive environment where team members strive without reserve to learn, grow and win every day. A team culture where members selflessly contribute to a cooperative and productive team environment.
  • With a consultative approach to sales, you will work as a partner and build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our Medtronic Diabetes product offerings.
  • Provide input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies, continuously look for opportunities for improvement and
  • Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems.

Must Have - Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in leading in a Remote Sales or Call Centre team environment
  • Strong understanding of the sales process
  • Proven goal setting, team building, coaching and people management experience
  • Proven track record of building teams, motivating and driving towards results
  • Tertiary qualifications essential
  • Customer-focused with a clear record that demonstrates the ability to build solid relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Be sales savvy with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be self-motivated and driven with proven success working in a target driven environment
  • A willingness to learn with the ability to pick up technical information with ease
  • High energy with a resilient and positive 'can do' attitude

Nice to Have
  • Experience in healthcare and an understanding of Diabetes
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or similar CRM system
