The Opportunity.

We are seeking a Level 2 Technical Officer to join the Department at various regional locations.

The position requires a can do attitude, operating in the challenging operational research environment providing technical support to field research projects. You will undertake tasks in the day to day operation and management of research projects and surrounding region to achieve research outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate.

The ideal candidate will have worked within this field, have a practical hands on approach and /or are keen to develop and share their knowledge with a range of internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the development of WA's agricultural sector through improved soil and crop nutrition management.

A self-motivated individual capable of working unsupervised as well as within a team, and be flexible in undertaking field work away from the base location if needed.

To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia.
