Temporary positions available for technical support officers to support a conference over set days across MS Teams technology - entry level/junior.

Strong NSW Government Organisation needs multiple technical support officers to assist on a virtual event for 8 working days.

Experience with MS Teams is essential.

Entry level to junior support professionals seeking to gain some experience and exposure to support, along with government experience.

This company, have a need for multiple support officers for the duration of the conference on a casual employment basis. It is highly likely to be recurring in the future and will allow the applicant to work in a fast-paced environment where they can obtain experience providing technical support.

If you would love a role based will be done remotely with your own device (Laptop/Computer) being used to provide the support with specific allocated days to support.

You are:

You are Level 1 Service Desk Analyst who is currently looking for an opportunity or needs something in between jobs or are knowledgeable in MS Teams troubleshooting and needs to gain corporate experience. You will enjoy the satisfaction that comes with providing exceptional customer service whilst working in a very fast-paced environment.

You'll come with solid experience supporting MS Teams application - some training before the event will be provided.

The role:

You'll be responsible for providing remote support to our customers within their IT environment. As a Technical Support Officer, you will provide assistance and support over the days to ensure attendees have a great experience with ease from the technology POV.

This role involves extensive telephone and email customer interaction and you'll be expected to be flexible in your role, working across an array of technologies.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Level 1 support of MS Teams
  • Level 1 support in dealing with users across IT
  • Ability to work with users to provide strong instructions to ensure use of applications is being used and promotes productivity.
  • Able to escalate at the right point in time.
