Job Description

As Compliance Implementation Lead, you will be positioned to drive best-practice financial reporting controls in the Finance Transformation journey towards standardization and sustainable compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your deep-technical Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) expertise to lead the definition of best-practice financial reporting controls
  • Challenging the work done by 3rd party contractors, their approach and their findings
  • Interpreting gaps to best-practice financial reporting controls – understand impact, root cause and action needed to bring about improvement
  • Leading translation of observations into an executable plan
  • Providing advice on the efficacy of the action in meeting the objectives of the best-practice financial reporting control standards
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all relevant senior management and their teams

Qualifications

What's required?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Auditing / Finance / Risk
  • Professional designation (CPA or CA) required
  • Expert knowledge in interpretation and application of SOX standards
  • Able to draw conclusions on the overall effectiveness of the system of financial control and to derive learning from control incidents, audit findings and financial reporting errors
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
