About The Team

BDO’s Tax practice has established itself as a major player within the local marketplace, advising many of Queensland’s leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base.

Current Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Practice Assistant to support two Partners in our Tax division. This role will also provide administrative support to the wider tax team. This position would be ideally suited to a candidate who enjoys a busy and varied day and is seeking a role where they can help drive a positive team culture, whilst contributing to the overall success of the team.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Managing 2 Partners inbox’s and diaries
  • Travel bookings
  • Key contact for Partner’s clients
  • Processing expenses, billings and timesheets
  • Co-ordinating internal and external meetings and events
  • Generating and formatting documents and reports
  • Providing secondary support to the wider team
  • General administration duties as required

What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Previous experience as a Practice/Personal Assistant in a professional environment
  • Ability to build rapport and liaise with external executives and peers
  • High level organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with policy and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and problem solving ability
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Office
