Role: CVMS Systems Administration Coordinator (until 31 Decemeber 2021)

Position Summary:

The COVID-vac group is responsible for managing and coordinating the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination to the state of Victoria. Operating as a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the group will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective and efficient immunisation campaign.

The CVMS System Administration Coordinator will provide high level administrative support to the operation of the Covid Vaccine Management System (CVMS). The role will liaise directly with health services and department branches to provide advice, education, change management and delivery support.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide system administration (Azure, Dynamics) and user administration support.
  • Coordinate user audits and report findings as required.
  • Coordinate the process of managing devices (e.g. tablets, scanners, printers, etc) and authorisations.
  • Operate the Azure Active Directory and oversee usage.
  • Conduct security monitoring.
  • Assist with the management of the vendor contract.
  • Provide onboarding/offboarding support and training to users and super users.
  • Train the Trainers as required.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and CVMS reporting by presenting findings to the management team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
  • Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
