About The Role

Iluka has an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Officer to join the Procurement team at our corporate head office in Perth.

Reporting to the Category Manager – Mining & Key Commodities, the key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Preparation of RFP/RFT documentation & management of tender activities including contract negotiation
  • Formulation, drafting and execution of Goods and Services contracts
  • Ongoing management of Mining & Commodity contracts under the supervision of the Category Manager; and
  • Contract and category data analysis and preparation of reporting.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining/Business/Commercial Law or related discipline (preferred);
  • previous experience in a Contracts Officer role;
  • knowledge of contracting principles;
  • able to work to strict timelines;
  • proficient in MS Office;
  • previous experience using a CMS and SAP (preferred but not essential);
  • a high standard of written and verbal communications skills; and,
  • strong attention to detail.
