Audeara Limited is in the process of listing on the ASX and moving into a high growth phase.

We are seeking an iOS developer to lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of quality applications software to support Audeara’s hardware products. You have to love what you do and love helping people. We are a highly motivated and passionate team located in Newstead and are looking for a like minded soul to join us. 


About your new role

We’re looking for a developer who can hit the ground running to:

  • Design, code and maintain mobile user experiences end-to-end for the iOS platform
  • Large focus on designing functional interfaces for specific user groups
  • Communicate and engage with users to analyse needs and functional requirements
  • Work within a cross-functional team of other developers and Product Managers
  • Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native


As the team lead, you’ll be expected to: 

  • Lead and empower the team to deliver quality, customer-focused products
  • Work closely with senior management to scope product requirements 
  • Coach, Mentor and Guide developers to help them reach their potential
  • Implement Strategic Technical Roadmap


This role reports to the CTO with your main focus on the end user experience. 


About you

You will have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Information Technology
  • 3+ years of professional experience working as an iOS mobile developer
  • Previous experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
  • Experience with IoT or Bluetooth connected hardware products and devices
  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Unit testing and integration testing experience
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to manage complex problems using a number of techniques.
  • Strong ability to engage with stakeholders to understand how customers use our solutions.
  • Self sufficient with end to end project experience
