• Full Time, Fixed Term to 30/06/2024
• PTA Level 5, $99,164 pa (plus 9.5% super)

About the Role:

This is a key role in which you will source and manage equipment relating to Safety Compliance, including monitoring & reporting, and bring asset management capability and expertise to achieve project outcomes.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of project briefs, maintaining equipment registers, implementation planning, equipment delivery scheduling, risk and issue management and management of other relevant asset documentation.
  • Developing key strategies, policies and processes for the monitoring, reporting, auditing, quality control, dispute resolution and delivery of equipment outcomes in line with project schedules.
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard, by developing and implementing rigorous maintenance processes and procedures, and conducting regular quality assurance checks.
  • Managing all procurement activities and documentation related to Safety Compliance equipment.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive equipment register.
  • Initiating and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage consultation processes.
  • Providing clear direction and set specific goals for the team, to ensure all programs and activities are effective, strategically aligned and delivered within time and budget requirements.
  • Building and developing capability within the team, in order to maximise the contribution and potential of members and ensure that CFA has the capacity to meet current and future challenges.
  • Ensuring that SW&E policies, procedures, instructions and initiatives are understood and followed by people under your leadership.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple assets within complex projects and an understanding of project management methodologies. A high level of written and verbal communication skills are important as is the ability to effectively cooperate with stakeholders (intra and inter project collaboration) including effective negotiation and delivery to agreed outcomes. Experience working within a volunteer environment is highly regarded, as is conducting procurement activities in line with VGPB framework.
