The position of Senior Project Officer, International Education is part of the International Education branch within the Global Victoria group. Global Victoria connects Victoria to global opportunities. We do this by building the export capability of Victorian businesses, connecting Victorians to global trade opportunities through our international network of 22 offices, promoting our world class industry capabilities to international audiences and seeking to attract and retain the best global talent through migration. 

The position of Senior Project Officer, International Education, is a key member of the International Education's Strategy and Market Development team. The Strategy and Market Development team is responsible for developing the Government's overarching strategic direction in international education. Your role will involve provision of high quality and timely advice to the Minister, Secretary and senior officers on issues relevant to Victoria's international education sector, oversight of programs and supporting international education business development opportunities, and monitoring trends in international education, including Commonwealth policies and regulatory settings.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills along with relevant experience in program management and/or policy analysis and development. If you possess the ability to undertake analysis of international education sector performance and trend data as well as deliver outcomes within quality and time specifications, then this could be the position for you.
