JOB DESCRIPTION

For almost 200 years AACo has been passionately perfecting and crafting the magic of Australia; and we want you to be a part of the journey we’re on.

At AACo we don’t want you to just have a job with us, but a career. We offer sensational training and developmental opportunities for all of our people, and genuinely believe in helping our people thrive and grow both professionally and personally, in a Company that values it’s people, their safety, and the land!

AACo is committed to being a leader in sustainable beef production. This means consistently striving for best practice and continuous improvement in the management of the environment and animals under our stewardship, minimising any adverse impact from our operations and contributing positively to the communities where we operate.

Owning roughly 1% of Australia’s landmass and spread over 24 stations across Queensland and the Northern Territory, coordinating this vision is a significant challenge.
As Sustainability Advisor, you will work closely with the Head of Environment and Sustainability to support the development of Sustainability in our business, taking responsibility for key projects and processes while playing a hands-on role working with partners in the development of innovations and adoption of technology. The role requires strong partnership with our Pastoral business and other support operations to deliver meaningful outcomes and to enable AACo’s Sustainability vision.

This role is suited to someone who can demonstrate a passion for Sustainability and the ability to deliver a quality in complex and diverse projects. You will need a passion for adventure in Australian agriculture and landscapes, an ability to drive initiatives in partnership with personnel across our business, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders.
