An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Internal Sales/Customer Service Officer to join our Neerabup, Western Australia team on a full-time basis. You will need to be organized, efficient and time savvy as well as have outstanding customer service attributes, be a team player as well as be able to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

In addition to these attributes, the candidate must have experience with SAP, have strong computer and data entry skills, possess strong attention to detail, and a willingness to ensure that our customers are taken care of to the best of your ability professionally and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated customer service from the placement of the order all the way through the process to the delivery of our products.
  • Process a high volume of customer orders via e-mail and other software platforms.
  • Convert quotations, credit claims, and returns.
  • Provide communications on product availability, product specifications, pricing, and delivery information to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with customers, contractors, account managers, production, dispatch, and distribution centres.
  • Resolve complaints and customer inquiries politely and professionally without conflict.
  • Assisting in the coordination and completion of stock takes.
  • Releasing of daily orders for the production team efficiently and accurately.

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have 2 to 5 years of experience within the building industry is essential (timber, building, or construction industries preferred).
  • Have 2 to 5 years of experience within a customer service environment.
  • Can demonstrate previous experience in using SAP software.
  • Possess excellent communications skills inclusive of integrating and adapting to different personalities in a fast-moving industry (i.e. speak to customers, floor personnel, truck drivers, senior management).
  • Strong time management skills are essential, and the ability to multitask and work towards achieving strict deadlines.
  • Ability to problem-solve and professionally manage customer queries and complaints.
  • Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
