JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking an Administration Assistant, a role which will entail looking after marketing, communications and administration, as well as being an all-rounder within the business.

As Administration Assistant, your responsibility will include 50% towards assisting with Marketing. In your marketing focus you will be hands on creating content and advertisements with relevancy, not just liaising with external suppliers.

You will report directly to an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager who will help guide you and offer you invaluable training and experience.

You will need to display;:

  • Outstanding organisational, planning skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar and overall writing skills
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
Main responsibilities include:
  • Help to manage social media communication and website content
  • Plan the social media schedule in advance so that posts align with upcoming events within the business
  • Data entry and general administration duties
  • Managing product listings on various websites
  • Creating digital content to be used on social media platforms and email newsletters
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of exhibitions
  • Some graphic design and/or editing existing marketing collateral
  • Supporting the sales team with their customers, quotes, orders and product needs
  • Answering the phone and directing calls/taking detailed messages
  • Liaising with transport companies to organise deliveries
Skills & experience:
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Excellent phone manner (required)
  • Experience in Mailchimp Campaigns (desirable)
  • Existing knowledge on how to run a successful LinkedIn account with knowledge of social media techniques and trends (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
Qualifications & requirements:
  • Victorian Drivers License and own transport (required)
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required)
