    Job Description

    As Senior Auditor, you will work closely with the Associate Director and Director responsible for the External and Internal Audit engagements.

    Together with the team, you will have various responsibilities on a variety of engagements and be responsible for the following:
    • Financial Statements and tax compliance audits in line with the Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards
    • Risk and compliance and work planning
    • Internal audit including performance, financial and operational auditing
    • Grant funding allocations and investigations
    • Governance and regulatory compliance

    This role requires excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate audit findings into meaningful written reports and verbal presentations.

    You will supervise a small team of graduates and ensure accurate billing and timely close of projects.

    You are required to have excellent knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Audit Standards, thus local experience is vital to be considered for this role.

    Working Closely With The HR Advisor You Will
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle for a number of key hires against 2 new projects, recently won by this company
    • Focus your attention to the blue-collar space, looking after bulk hiring for fitters and crane operators especially
    • Advertise roles, assess resumes, conduct phone screening, assist in interview process
    • Fulfil due diligence requirements (references, tickets/accreditation's/qualifications, medicals etc.)
    • Assist in onboarding including release of contracts
    • Assist in mobilisations
    • Any other duties as requested by HRA


    The Successful Applicant

    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • Completed professional qualification (CA/CPA) or near completion
    • At least 2 years relevant local Australian experience within a similar role in audit/assurance

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will:
    • Be immediately available to start work and get stuck in
    • Arrive with 2+ years' recruitment experience in the blue-collar space
    • Be able to drive / commute to Bibra Lake
    • Consider yourself reasonably autonomous, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Be willing to commit to this opportunity for the full duration
