The Biodiversity Project Officer will support planning and implementation of funding provided through state and federal government to deliver the Victorian Biodiversity Response and Recovery Program.

The Biodiversity Recovery Project Officer works in a dynamic team environment to assist with coordination and administration of activities associated with the Bushfire Biodiversity Response and Recovery Program.

  • This exciting opportunity assists with delivery of the Bushfire Biodiversity Response and Recovery Program, it provides a unique opportunity to join a flexible and supportive team with a positive team culture. The role also provides fantastic opportunities for growth and development.
  • The successful candidate will possess a high attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team environment and demonstrate proficiency in a range of Microsoft office tools.
  • Experience in grant management advantageous.
  • The successful applicant will contribute to the recovery of Victoria's biodiversity following the 2019-20 bushfires.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in natural resource management and/or related portfolio content will be an advantage, but not essential.
This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2022.
