An exciting opportunity and rare opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Occupational Therapist Grade 2 to join the Acute Psychiatric Unit ( APU) at Austin Health.

APU is part of the North East Mental Health Service and is located on the Austin Campus. The APU is a 30 bed inpatient unit that provides the following service: 19 Adult Acute beds for the North East Area which covers the municipalities of Banyule and Nillumbik and 2 regionalised program of 5 Inpatient Eating Disorder beds and 6 inpatients Parent Infant Program beds.

We are currently seeking a Grade 2 occupational therapist to join our multidiscplay team. This position is a contracted maternity leave position of 22.8 hours . It is available immediately until the 2/1/2022. This position is predominantly working with the Adult Acute and Parent Infant Program however there will be opportunity to support the Eating Disorder Program and current OT 2 when required.
