Our client is a very large Government Department.

The Procurement Manager will be required for an initial 3 months term and will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and implementing procurement frameworks, processes, standards and documents.

Key accountabilities of the role will include:

  • Manage the development and standardisation of procurement processes, procedures and standards
  • Liaise with other NSW Government agencies on procurement best practices, standards and methodologies
  • Support Procurement Services staff and cross functional teams in the use of accredited construction procurement systems
  • Develop Tender evaluation methodology
  • Prepare contracts with input from the procurement cross functional teams.

Essentially we are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with demonstrable experience in providing procurement advice and carrying out procurement activities including advisory, planning, governance and reporting for a large and complex organisations.

Any experience in the development of procurement frameworks within government would be highly beneficial

This is a 3 months initial assignment to start as soon as possible.
