Key purpose of the Executive role

To support the Manager in delivering gold standard trading practices. To build trusted and influential relationships with media and agency partners. Work across all channels with a specific focus on TV.

Key responsibilities for the Executive

  • Ensures they live and breathe the Mindshare values everyday
  • Helps Assistant with prioritisation of their daily workload
  • Delegates to Assistants in an effective and timely manner
  • Ensures Assistants deliver their work to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Possesses strong negotiation and time management skills
  • Actively seeks and responds to feedback from line manager and other team members
  • Embodies the team vision as set by the GID
  • Conducts themselves in line with Mindshare Professional Etiquette Guidelines
  • Possesses a pro-active mentality/approach to their work
  • Contributes to a positive, motivating and inspiring team culture
  • Works collaboratively with client team across all disciplines throughout the campaign development process ensuring they deliver work in a timely manner
  • Has a good knowledge and understanding of the AMF and the roles and responsibilities at each stage
  • Is pro-active in increasing knowledge in all media channels
  • Ensures they deliver gold standard documents 100% of the time (including reports and PCA decks)
  • Attends and contributes in ideation sessions
  • Builds personal ownership of the buying process using GroupM Knowledge tools to deliver the best buying outcome for clients
  • Develops skill of interpreting relevant data sources to build insights that leads implementation thinking in order to help Manager (i.e. GroupM Knowledge, EMMA, Roy Morgan, Nielsen)
  • Tracks and optimises campaigns regularly and communicates issues to the Manager in a timely manner
  • Follows the GroupM compliance/audit process and thus delivers 100% adherence across their clients
  • Identifies opportunities for added value in campaigns
  • Checks all outputs with Manager at all times to ensure quality assurance
  • Works collaboratively with all divisions within Mindshare as relevant
  • Ensures all communication to internal and external stakeholders is clear and delivered in a timely manner
  • Starts to build trusted advisor relationship with media owners, clients and agency partners (at relevant level)
  • Develops understanding of the clients category
  • Helps to deliver Exchange related strategy to increase/maintain client TRR/appraisal scores
  • Starts to develop opinions on the media landscape and market
  • Assists with delivering high Mediai survey results through best practice media relationships
  • Develops good understanding of media owner product suites
  • Develops an understanding of media trends (including GroupM Knowledge and SMI data)
  • Develops strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Mindshare and groupm at both a local and global level
  • Responds to clients, media owners and partner agencies in a timely manner consistently managing expectations
  • Ensures all financial processes are followed with 100% accuracy (bookings and loadings)
  • Checks pro-formas thoroughly with aim of zero account queries
  • Ensures timesheets are completed in a timely manner
