Job Description

Full-time fixed-term position to June 2023 (with possibility of extension).

We are looking for an energetic and creative person with experience and knowledge in community development to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate community initiatives, projects and services for the Ellenbrook and surrounding community.

This will involve working towards developing a healthy and connected community through building community capacity and facilitating partnerships to deliver community programs and services, which meet unique place needs, through the following outcomes:

  • Understand our Community;
  • Build Community Capacity;
  • Develop Community Partnerships;
  • Encourage Community leadership;
  • Activate Places and Spaces; and
  • Attract Services

You will be located at the Ellenbrook Place Office under the direction of the Community Development Officer, and work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including Youth Development, Stakeholder Engagement and Library Services, and will assist in delivering on community priorities in partnership with the community.

Your demonstrated experience in delivering outcomes based programs, together with your skills in developing strategic partnerships and your ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders, will assist the City to address local needs and improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

The salary for this position will be from $62,279.78 to $73,401.17 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
