Job Description

Specialist Board Management Office, Governance has responsibility for supporting the Group Governance team (including the Company Secretary, Head of Governance and Specialist (Board Management Office)) and working closely and collaboratively with the Specialist Board Management Office, to play a critical role in managing Board and Board Sub-Committee meetings, Director administration, Director Site Visits and AGM.

Core Accountabilities will include the following:

  • Support the Specialist Board Management Office to manage face-to face Board meetings, including management of catering, group dinners and events, Director flights, transfers and itineraries and meetings in the lead up to Board (eg pre- meetings with Chair and Secretary).
  • Lead support for all BRAC meetings, including invitation management, pre-read distribution, record management and logistics and catering support.
  • Manage Director Site Visits including distribution of pre-read, accommodation and flights and general logistics support.
  • Act as a key contact and central management point for management of Director related administration tasks, including expenses, induction processes (on-baroding and off-boarding), farewell events and gifts, distribution of media clippings, management of 3-month movement schedule, and Directors’ remuneration administration.
  • Support the Specialist Board Management office in connection with Board and Sub-Committee Meetings, including assistance with Board and Committee management and ancillary request management (eg auditor requests), Meeting scheduling, preparation and planning and pre-read distribution and record management.
  • Administration point of contact for Limited AGM going forward (and Plc AGM if virtual), including Director travel arrangements and transfers.
  • Lead support for any Board Sub-Committees or Working Groups set up in connection with specific Projects, from time to time.
