The Opportunity

The Marketing Infrastructure team within SMC is rapidly growing in response to the University's ambitious personalisation goals. As such, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Marketing Personalisation Specialist to join the team.

The Specialist will consult with a variety of stakeholders across the University to identify, document and validate business needs and undertakes comprehensive benchmarking, best-practice, data management, analysis and testing to provide expert advice for personalising audience experiences. You will be involved in identifying, developing and implementing new business processes, methodology and frameworks to meet audience and stakeholder needs to enhance the operations of the Strategic Marketing and Communications function.

As a self driven individual, your role will be highly analytical and will work closely with Marketing Analysts and other SMC stakeholders to:
  • Scope and define end-to-end testing processes of technical lead journeys including the development of hypotheses and KPIs, test execution and results measurement
  • Optimise marketing programs utilising test outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver attractive yet efficient marketing campaigns
As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate prior experience in a similarly technical digital marketing position, with a history of enabling integrated multi-channel communications campaigns. You will have a strong ability to think analytically and utilise testing results to drive improvement and solve complex business challenges.

Your stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills will be exceptional, allowing to you liaise with others across the Division and University to achieve positive outcomes.
