We prioritise supporting students to develop language skills, develop positive behaviours and social skills and develop pathways.

The school leadership team is united in the commitment to implement an improvement agenda underpinned by the school vision statement of ‘Learning and achieving through respect, responsibility and resilience to optimise results'.

BYETC is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school and has a teaching and learning philosophy based on high yield teaching strategies, common teaching practices and a teams-based approach. A high priority is given to developing teacher capacity through collegial engagement practices.

Experience in vocational training and a current TAE40116 qualification will be highly regarded.
