The opportunity

In this exciting role as a Technical Lead, you will work alongside a high-performing team to design, develop, enhance, and implement software products and services across the AIA technology portfolio.

You will ensure that technical delivery aligns with our IT strategy, principles, and best practices, you will mainly coordinate technical skillsets in facilitating, planning, and managing technical tasks. You will also mentor developers and collaborate with various stakeholders, such as vendors and architects, to produce quality technology solutions.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Design and provide leadership support to code, unit test, build, and deploy complex software components
  • Create technical designs, detailed functional specifications, and quality documentation
  • Communicate and present technical papers to key stakeholders
  • Assist developers with the interpretation of technical designs
  • Assess and document high-level functional business requirements and define technical solutions
Successful applications will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience with front-end web development, building customer-facing software, and technical leadership roles
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies
  • Solid experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and reactive JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Strong understanding of AEM 6.4+ and components: JCR API, Sling models, OSGi, HTL, Touch UI dialogs
  • Good understanding of responsive design concepts, continuous improvement, Software AG API Gateway, automation testing, and development practices
  • A strong advocate of automation testing, DevOps practices
  • Proficiency with HTML5, ES6, CSS3/Sass, Bootstrap, or other front-end technologies
