Job Description

Location: Ashfield
Hours: 6.30 am – 3.00 pm Monday to Friday

Seniors and Disability Services is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Rostering Officer with previous experience in either Aged Care, Community or Disability services to schedule services that support and enable staff to perform high standard of client care.

The Rostering Officer will:

  • Effectively match appropriately skilled staff to clients according to need and achieve the best outcomes and the highest standard of client care
  • Enthusiastically roster a range of services to seniors to maintain their independence at home and in the community such as personal care, home maintenance, social connections, domestic services, transport, medication and the like
  • Have advanced IT problem solving skills, utilise a digitally based rostering system to manage client/staff rosters as part of a busy scheduling function
  • In collaboration with a small and focussed team, provide the best level of client care with enthusiasm and positivity.

To be considered you need to have:

  • Experience in rostering/scheduling for either a Home Care or Disability Provider, Aged Care Residential Facility or an Agency
  • Excellent capacity for client/worker matching and continuity of care strategies
  • Be an amazing multitasker in similar capacity or role
  • Have a can do attitude and be client focused with a positive approach
  • Have excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Well-developed communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills to innovatively manage the provision of quality care
  • Time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks
  • A flexible and empathetic approach to manage the sensitivities of client and care worker issues
  • Highly developed organisation, time management skills and the ability to solve problems independently
  • Satisfactory current National Police Clearance Certificate
  • A current West Australian driver’s licence

Qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or similar viewed favourably

Salary and Benefits

  • $65,825.26 to $70,610.14 per annum
