You’ll be joining the Business Banking (BB) Merchant Solutions team who are responsible for delivering reliable and innovative solutions to support our customers ranging from small business through to institutional clients.

Do work that matters

Your role will have responsibility for leading process design, governance and improvements for the Merchant Solutions value chain to create simple, standard, scalable processes that have clear performance metrics. You will rigorously challenge process, people, and technology designs to ensure we deliver a high level of customer service with effective risk management and compliance.

You will;

  • Lead a team responsible for the design and governance of the Merchant Solutions’ end-to-end processes, across multi-team value-chains, using Lean Six Sigma, Agile or other relevant framework

  • Lead the identification of key processes that deliver value to our customers to streamline and reengineer existing business processes to deliver transformational customer experiences

  • Develop, maintain and publish applicable business artefacts including process maps, detailed business processes/ procedures, user stories, process performance framework, gap analysis documentation, relevant matrixes, process architecture, high-level timelines etc.

  • Effectively facilitate workshops for the development of processes, policy or systems

  • Proactively identify risks, issues and successes and use these to help drive more efficient or customer centric processes and practices

  • Educate Merchant Solutions value chain owners on the end to end processes, empowering them through insights that allow them to make conscious business decisions, and work with them to identify and drive opportunities for improvement

We’re interested in hearing from people with

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Product or Process Owner with demonstrated experience in process design, improvement and management

  • Demonstrated experience in process design and management in payments, merchant acquiring, banking or financial industry

  • 5+ years’ experience in creating visual presentations and facilitation of workshops to articulate complex concepts to gain stakeholder endorsement of proposed solutions

  • Advanced problem solving and analysis, including operations performance metrics and project cost/benefit measures

  • 5+ years’ experience in leading a team or complex programs of work
