We are a young, dynamic and growing company with a premium product in the architecture, interior design and building space. We play a key role in the design foundations of some awe-inspiring residential and commercial projects in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and beyond. We have beautiful award-winning showrooms and are a privately owned Australian company looking to open more showrooms across Australia, with long-term goals to operate overseas. With plenty of exciting plans on the horizon, we are searching for an account manager to join the team. 


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven individual who is passionate about architecture and design to take ownership of existing trade client accounts and represent our brand by providing a high level of service and premium sales experience. 


We put an emphasis on developing genuine relationships through personal interactions from small things like a coffee dropoff to catch up regarding projects, to planned catered lunches in the showroom, or thoughtful entertainment events that resonate with specific clients. You will have the autonomy to plan your days across between the showroom and going out to see your clients.


You will develop and maintain exceptional knowledge about our product so you are able to understand your clients vision for their projects and advise on options, ensuring they are more educated and confident in their choice of our premium product. This role involves managing projects end-to-end from concept and specifications, to engaging with builders who place the order, meeting with end-users, and a personal thank you to those involved upon completion. 


While you will be responsible for personal sales and specification targets, your key focus should be developing relationships and repeat business for your client list. We are looking for someone who is engaging, driven and well-presented who wants to develop a career in the luxury architectural and design product space. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Make clients feel valued, understand their vision and requirements and provide relevant information on our products and service
  • Secure product specifications and sales through an existing portfolio of luxury architect and designers
  • Provide an industry-leading sales experience
  • Plan and prepare for client meetings, presentations and events
  • Track and manage all client activity and projects in our CRM
  • Work towards personal and team sales targets and goals
  • Liaising with procurement, finance, our warehouse on your projects to ensure a positive client experience and sales process

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • As the face of our brand, you must be well presented and take pride in your personal presentation
  • Genuine "people person" with a commitment to providing first-class customer service and developing relationships
  • Internally motivated to achieve and exceed sales and service targets and goals
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management, administration and organisational skills
  • Likes working in a small team towards a goal, while playing an important role in a greater company
  • Passion for architecture, interiors and design


IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Experience with using CRM or order and project management systems
  • Background in furniture, fabrics, building materials, interior design, luxury goods or a premium brand environment
