Since launching in the Sydney beachside suburb of Bronte nine years ago, we've taken our passion for sustainable and ethically farmed produce to venues in Byron Bay, Rosebery, and Brisbane. Now, we're entering the Melbourne food scene for the first time, with a restaurant that will encompass our ethos of simple, real food, prepared with love – on a bigger scale.

Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay is a sprawling venue offering real, honest food in every style. From hampers for picnics in the paddocks amongst the pigs, cows, veggie patches and chickens, to a sit down a la carte menu with a breathtaking country-feel vista to delicious takeaway options in our retail space. It is a venue that has it all, including approachable, friendly staff – are you one? Come and join the Ducks in Byron.

We use 

Single Origin Roasters beans, rotating guest singles, 2 new La Marzocco KB90s, juggler milk dispensers, EK43, Mythos grinders, Fetco batch brews and hand-brewed filters.

Our ideal Head Barista would be..... 

Some to who is fun, outgoing, enthusiastic, and professional who can head up our team. We need a barista who can manage the coffee and hot beverage section and who can maintain our high standard of quality.

You would be working with a young and energetic team, in a group of up to 6 baristas on the coffee machine, in a fun fast past cafe. Great working conditions for the right applicant. If you enjoy working in a busy environment with other Baristas who are serious about their coffee please email a short paragraph about yourself and a resume.

• that has an eye for detail

• can maintain our consistently high standard in a high paced environment

• is experienced managing people and working in a team

• is highly organised

• is a clean and tidy worker

• is passionate about coffee

• is experienced with specialty coffee

• has experience training and developing barista skills

• is able to run group cuppings

• is customer service orientated

• can produce high-quality volume under pressure

• is available weekends

• has experience with filter coffee, EK43 grinders and weighing in and out
