Location

Hobart, Launceston or Devonport - by negotiation

Hours per fortnight

73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation) - in accordance with an approved roster.

Period of Appointment

ASAP until 31 December 2021

Duties

To work, as a member of a team, to assist managers, supervisors and field teams with the development, review, publishing and communication of instructional and assessment material to ensure biosecurity staff have up-to-date information that supports them to undertake activities associated with their roles, including border response activities related to
COVID-19.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of plant health, animal health, and land management or invasive species management.
  • Experience with contemporary document management systems and desktop publishing software, including the Microsoft Office suite of software (especially Word, Excel and SharePoint).
