JOB DESCRIPTION

Toowoomba is a prosperous regional Queensland city, located 90 minutes west of Brisbane (by road). Set high on the edge of the Great Dividing Range and overlooking the Lockyer Valley (to the east), Toowoomba is known for its beautiful views, elegant gardens and quality living environment.
Living in Toowoomba
As Queensland's largest inland city, Toowoomba offers all the benefits of urban living in a thriving business environment. Being the hub of the fertile Darling Downs region has resulted in a city with extensive manufacturing, education, health, retail, agricultural and professional services.
Toowoomba's population has nearly reached 160,000 and over the past five years has increased at an annual rate of 1.9%.
There is a good balance of business and recreation with the city home to 13,727 business entities, 150 public parks and gardens and more than 50 primary and high schools.

The Darling Downs
In the western parts of the Darling Downs there are rolling plains and little rural townships while in the northern areas visitors will find hamlets strung along the eastern escarpment, home to nurseries, cafés, museums and galleries.
The Southern Downs is the perfect altitude for growing grapes and wineries dot the landscape. In the north-west, the Bunya Mountains rise dramatically against the sky and offer spectacular mountain scenery, walking trails and abundant wildlife.
We are a private mental health service with approximately 6 clinicians (3 independent tenants and 3 employees) and two admin staff. We've been working from our current location for almost 10 years and have a very strong positive reputation in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region. We routinely have a waitlist of 4 - 6 weeks for services for children, youth, and adults. Approximately 80% of our clients have access to government funded services (full or in part) with the remainder accessing private insurance or are full fee paying.
