What you'll be doing

The Secretary / Administrative Assistant is responsible to the Cancer Services Development Manager. The position requires flexibility in the provision of administrative, clerical and secretarial support at an executive level.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible

  1. High level of proficiency in all secretarial duties
  2. Typing speed of 50 wpm, Dictaphone typing and medical terminology experience.
  3. Demonstrated ability to prepare professional documents, reports and presentation material.
  4. Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
  5. Proven organizational skills including diary management, meeting preparation, minute taking and follow up.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a good telephone manner and the ability to problem solve and locate resources when necessary.
  8. Experience in a health care setting.
