JOB DESCRIPTION

The vibrant Town of Victoria Park is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Strategic Projects Manager to join our Project Management team in a full-time capacity on a three year contract.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the position is responsible for managing projects including the initiation, planning, implementation, and close-out of complex projects based on contemporary project management methods and with alignment to the Town’s vision of a dynamic place for everyone.


Our ideal candidate will have


This role will have primary responsibility for the management of the Strategic projects.

  • previous demonstrated extensive experience, at a senior level, in managing multi-disciplinary project teams
  • experience in initiating, planning, implementing and closing-out/review of complex projects
  • demonstrated experience in managing complex projects including public realm, landscape and streetscape, design and construction with input from multiple stakeholders and the community
  •  a strong commitment to stakeholder engagement, innovation and diversity
  • relevant experience and/or a Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Project Management, Planning, or a related discipline
  • a preference for PRINCE2 (Practitioner level) certification

This position is offered on a three year contract with a salary range of $127,787 - $141,046 per annum
