Working in a dynamic and culture centric, there is an opportunity for an experienced Social Media Specialist to managing the brand's social media presence across a number of platforms.



Description

As a Social Media Specialist, your role is responsible for:

  • Social media community management across channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Act as a brand ambassador in social media and leverage social media networks to proactively engage with existing and future customers.
  • Adapt tone to provide an appropriate customer experience for the situation and maintain a consistent voice across channels aligned with company branding.
  • Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of products, services and brand to effectively problem solve and communicate to increase customer engagement and foster brand loyalty.
  • Determine trends in consumer questions and complaints.
  • Develop and distribute quarterly social trends reports providing an aggregate view into competitor activity, customer experiences, and key themes.
  • Utilise social media listening and response systems to perform day-to-day monitoring of the brand, competitor and industry social activity.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in social media, community management and/or content creation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and how each platform can be used in different scenarios
  • Solid organisational skills that enable multitasking, prioritising, executing in a fast-pace environment and managing time effectively in order to meet deadlines
  • Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to author effective guest-facing communications and develop creative responses in real time
