Social Status is a Melbourne based Digital Marketing Agency with a focus on Social Media but also delivering additional digital marketing channels in PPC & SEO. We work with a diverse range of clients and we strive to help them leverage the power of digital to achieve their business goals.

We’ve been operating for 6 years and have accelerated hard out of the pandemic, so we’re looking for a confident, pro-active Account Manager to bolster our team and help us grow to the next level.


As an Account Manager, your day will consist of working with your team to onboard new clients, managing deliverables, communicating with clients, looking for ways to improve their results and ensuring we’re doing everything we can to delight them. The requirement for technical implementation will be limited, though is still an aspect of the role. As an Account Manager, the buck stops with you.

What do you do?

  • Work with clients to understand objectives and devise strategy.
  • Monitor results vs KPIs & work with team to action deliverables.
  • Look for pro-active opportunities for strategic improvements / upsells.
  • Complete urgent technical work on clients (where required).
  • Conduct monthly WIPs, compile reports & manage client relationships.


What do you need?

  • 2+ Years of Client Management experience in a Marketing Agency.
  • Thorough understanding of digital strategy & implementation.
  • Experience managing a team and working to deadlines.
  • High attention to detail is imperative.
  • Be a people person who loves digital marketing.
